GREENER PASTURES: One of
the strengths of The Environmental Project has been its expert staff who
have been able to answer many skeptics' questions and make the fanciful
rain forest project seem more plausible. Now, that staff is quickly coming
unwound. Ted Stilwill, who had led the project's educational planning for
the past year and a half, has left for a Chicago-area job. Nancy Quellhorst,
who as vice president and director of operations had been one of the project's
chief promoters and spokespeople, was hired last week as the new head of
the Iowa City Area Chamber of Commerce.
