Rain Forest Project Could be Withering

(Cedar Rapids – KCRG) -- Iowa Senator Chuck Grassley supports Coralville's proposed indoor rain forest but Wednesday he said he's been politically embarrassed by it.
Grassley helped secure $50 million in federal money for the rain forest two years ago. Project organizers are still 90 million short.
Grassley says it's a legitimate question to ask about the slow fundraising.
Coralville City Manager Kelly Hayworth says everybody's as frustrated as Senator Grassley.
Hayworth's concerned about rain forest top leadership and the millions his city's spent on specific work.
Project Leader David Oman says there is fundraising momentum and interest from one significant company.
The Coralville City Council may decide in a few weeks whether to go through with this project.
