Note: Since May 27, 1993, the full text of a small selection of writings has been made available to anyone with computer communications connection to the Internet or World Wide Web. The site, for an "anonymous ftp" transfer, is:
cpsr.org/pub/njohnson
As a World Wide Web home page site it is:
http://www.sunnyside.com/
at which point click on "Nicholas Johnson Archives." [Or: http://snyside.sunnyside.com/pub/njohnson] (If this is clear, there will be no trouble finding the documents. If it is not, someone who is familiar with Internet file transfer procedures, or any of the many books and manuals about use of the Internet, can explain it.)
Within the /njohnson subdirectory are two text files ("contents.txt" and "readme.txt") and a number of sub-sub-directories which hold the documents, grouped by subject. What follows here is the text file "contents.txt" as it was entered June 11, 1995.
Writings will continue to be added (and removed) from time to time indeed, the entire repository may be removed at any time by the home site. Nevertheless, for those with access to the Internet who wish to see the full text of some documents this may be a useful source.

Note: As noted in the Introduction: Given my views as to the confidentiality of the judge-clerk relationship as well as the obvious strength of personality, intellect and writing ability of the two judges involved it would be inappropriate to list any of these opinions in the Bibliography itself. Necessarily, no representation is made, one way or the other, regarding my participation in their preparation. Nonetheless, it was thought that anyone sufficiently interested to have consulted this Bibliography at all might at least welcome having access to those citations.
Case names are followed by citations in standard Bluebook style. (If this is unfamiliar, any lawyer or law librarian can assist in finding the relevant volumes and pages.) Bracketed material indicates the Fifth Circuit case number, the city where the court heard the argument, the initials of the additional judges assigned to the case, the date of the argument/assignment, and the date the opinion was released. These opinions are also available in digital electronic form from Lexis, Westlaw and possibly other online sources.

Case names are followed by citations in Bluebook style. (If this is unfamiliar, any lawyer or law librarian can assist in finding the relevant volumes and pages.) These opinions are also available in digital electronic form from Lexis, Westlaw and possibly other online sources.
