Surf the Web. Come up with five sites and send them to me by e-mail. Hopefully, they'll have something to do with law in general or this course in particular. Sites you find genuinely useful and already use, or cool sites you've just come across. But it's your call. Send me whatever you want. What follows, in the order in which they were received, are the participants' responses. -- N.J., February 7, 2000; updated February 20, 2000

One for fun-a listing of all the web cams on earth:

Professor Johnson:
Following are five web sites that I find
useful/interesting:
1)www.findlaw.com – I used
this site a lot last summer
when I clerked for the Tribune Company. For the
most
part, I was able to conduct a lot of my legal research
on this site, as opposed to having to rack up huge legal
bills using Lexis-Nexis.
2)cyber.findlaw.com -
Findlaw.com has a Cyberspace Law
Center, which has links to Academic Courses and
Professors' Home Pages, along with a lot of other
information about Cyberspace Law. I didn’t see
your
site posted on the Academic Courses page. If it
isn’t,
perhaps you’d consider creating a link on that page to
your Cyberspace Law site.
3)www.metromix.com – The
Tribune hosts this site. It is
an entertainment guide to Chicago activities and
events. For those of us who will be living in Chicago
in the near future or who may even just drive to Chicago
for the weekend every now and then, it is a great
resource to see which plays, sporting events, and other
activities are taking place.
4)www.blackvoices.com
– This site also is hosted by the
Tribune. It provides news and entertainment
information to African-Americans. I think it is
an
interesting site because it shows how news on the
Internet can be tailored to different audiences.
5)www.tvquest.com
– This is another Tribune site. It
allows you to get your local TV listings online.
By
entering your zip code, you can access the TV listings
from a local newspaper.
