Presidential Candidates' Pages

Introductory Note: By the end of the year 2000 we will have elected a new president of the United States. In all likelihood, it will be one of the candidates now running for their parties' nominations. Those of us in Iowa have a special interest -- and role to play -- in this election. The Iowa precinct caucuses, January 24, 2000, will  provide one of the first indications in a real "election" (as distinguished from various polls) of how the voters are leaning. Parties, and candidates, are listed on this Web site alphabetically. Candidates' titles have been omitted. This page expresses no preferences. It does provide you links to whomever may be your preference. Better still, if you haven't yet made up your mind, use this opportunity to visit the Web sites of all the candidates. In addition to the candidates' official Web sites, I have also included links to the parody pages. If there are any pages I have left out, be assured it was not deliberate. Indeed, if you will e-mail me, njohnson@inav.net, I will be more than happy to add any site you'd like to this list. -- Nicholas Johnson, Iowa City, Iowa, November 30, 1999; updated December 19, 1999; January 29, 2001.
